It’s Holiday Season!

The holidays are officially upon us. With Disneyland in our backyard, it’s time to start the party. The official celebration began last week with the lighting of “It’s a Small World” by Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Mark Plummer. The attraction features over 300,000 lights for the season and the children of “It’s a Small World” carolling in several different languages. The park will have a plethora of holiday themed excitement; from the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks over the snowcapped Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle(which concludes with a real snow flurry), to photo ops with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree.
The “A Christmas Fantasy” parade features all of our beloved Disney characters, dressed for the holidays. Dancing and singing with gingerbread men, reindeer and all of our holiday favorites. For those who like their Christmas a bit spooky; the ever-popular Jack Skellington’s “Haunted Mansion Holiday”, brings to life Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare before Christmas” in all it’s macabre, seasonal glory.
Over at Disney’s California Adventure, step back in time as Buena Vista Street has been transformed to Christmastime from the 1920’s and 1930’s. It’s just beautiful. The most hotly anticipated transformation is Cars Land. Radiator Springs features snow covered mountains and Christmas tree’s made of traffic cones, hubcaps and everything else Cars-related. It’s really a sight to see. Not to mention the arrival of “Snowy”, an adorable little snow-car that is positively stealing hearts.
The Disney parks have really out-done themselves again this season in a spectacular way, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. We expect Cars Land to be as popular this season as it was during the summer, so be sure to book early to avoid missing out.
