What to Pack When Going to Disneyland

What to Pack When Going to Disneyland

You’re off to the magical place called Disneyland and you’re wondering what to bring. After all, you can’t very well go to the Park empty-handed. Here are a few tips on what you should bring to make your trip all the more enjoyable:

1. Water

You’ll be walking most of the time, so it’s really important that you stay hydrated. The cost of water inside the park is at least four times more expensive than it is outside. Hence, bring bottles of water to help you save some money and keep your experience fun. DO NOT BRING A HUGE JUG. This will just be too inconvenient and impractical to do. A couple of bottles of water for each family member will be enough.  If it is a summer day you can freeze one and it will defrost during the day.

2. Extra Clothes

There are a lot of things to do while going around Disneyland, so you might need to change your clothes more than once. This is especially true if you are planning to ride the Grizzly River Run, as you will probably get soaked afterward.

3. Umbrellas and Caps

The sun will pose a huge challenge for you when walking down the many boulevards of Disneyland. It will also be your biggest foe while waiting for the parade of characters on Main Street. You’ll need umbrellas and caps to protect you from the heat and to make sure you don’t end up burnt like a crisp after spending your day in Disneyland.

4. Camera

When you go to Disneyland, make sure to take plenty of memories back with you. A camera will help you capture every magical moment. Make sure to save your battery power because you’ll want to take pictures of the magical fireworks show that happens every night.

These are just some of the things you need to pack in your bag when going to Disneyland. Of course, you should remember to take the most important thing of all with you: your imagination.

I think to honestly exeeirpnce everything in a relaxing no hectic manner you cannot exeeirpnce both parks in one day. In fact you might not get to everything in a relaxed manner in two. If you want to exeeirpnce everything I suggest you plan your day before you start it. And also have a backup plan such as if a line is too long or something is not working at the moment. Hope you have a fun trip

LOL, I’ve been a passholder for several years and we go to the parks 20-30 times a year, we don’t bring anything on this list except a camera, which is on the cell phone and occasionally a hat. Sunscreen is way more important! We just bring one reusable water bottle with a filter on it and fill it up at the many (free) water fountains in both parks! If we bring a bag, it’s a small sling bag so we can easily get through security, and it has essential medications, snacks, sunscreen, lip balm and other essentials depending on the weather. Nothing sucks more than carrying a huge bag around the parks and trying to get it on rides! If you have to bring a lot, and don’t have a stroller, get a locker, they have in and out privileges!
