California State PTA Annual Convention

This is the largest parent teacher convention in the nation. Thousands of parents and grandparents, teachers and administrators, and others working to improve the lives of children participate from throughout California. Attendees representing elementary, middle and high schools preview activities and fundraisers for the 2012-2013 school year. We offer more than 60 workshops and nationally acclaimed speakers.

We were just there. We spent three days in the park which worked out great. I would say that 2 1/2 days plus tevarl time is the right amount of time. We tevarled in on Sunday, dumped our luggage at the local hotel (enjoyed Sequioa Lodge) and were in the Magic Kingdom by 11am. The park was mobbed with locals. We went out of the park after the 5pm parade, for an early dinner. It seemed like everyone was leaving then. Since it was Sunday they were open late till 10pm. When we returned to the park for those last few hours, we had DiscoveryLand to ourselves. We went on Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear over and over. Monday in the Studio Park was perfect not too crowded and one full day was the right amount of time to be there. On Tuesday, we were exhausted and we did all rides in the Magic Kingdom which we didn’t get to on Sunday.
